Healing Start Today provides FREE support groups serving Milwaukee County and surrounding areas. Rhythm and Soles ® is a division of Healing Starts Today providing support for adults and children.
HST was founded in 2016 and includes a professional staff and clinical team of Certified Peer Support Providers, Substance Abuse Counselors and Mental Health Professionals all with lived experience as group facilitators. Healing Starts Today also provides customized education and training for other providers, advocates, educators, and a host of other professionals providing direct services.
There is a serious need for HST services, providing a weekly group for kids, young adults, and adults to share their struggles, to learn and heal with their peers. Our in-person groups are effective, safe, accessible, and available every week. Your participation and support in Rhythm and Soles 5K walk run event will enable Healing Starts Today to continue to offer free support groups, empowering children, teens, and adults to identify unsafe situations, healthy relationships and to build resilience as they heal from any past experiences.

Our goals are to provide underserved populations with resources, support and awareness for the purpose of saving lives and building strong families. Our community has been drastically impacted by human trafficking and the intersections of many other violent crimes such as DV, sexually abuse, homicide, drugs, suicide, etc..
Our mission is to inspire and empower our community with the proper tools for healing and exceeding expectations .
